Here’s a wonderful video of David Titus, the String Man, whom I got to meet at a gathering of the International String Figure Association at Fort Mason in San Francisco in 2006. At 9:06 he tells the story of his webmaster suggesting he get in touch with Goodwill Industries to melt and weld together the nylon strings. The String Figure Store was born!
